 A LETTER FROM

THE HEADTEACHER

Dear Parents

I am pleased to write these few words of welcome on behalf of the staff, governors and pupils of Norfolk Park School.

Starting a new school is always a daunting experience but you can rest assured that we will do everything we can to welcome you and your child into our school.

This prospectus has been designed to help you find out about the school, the staff, the governors and pupils.  I do hope that you find it informative and that it gives you something of the 'flavour' of the school.

Norfolk Park is an establishment which, according to a recent OFSTED report, 'provides a very caring and supportive learning environment for pupils who have a wide range of profound or complex learning disabilities.  Pupils have a good attitude to work and to school, showing interest and enjoyment in many of the activities. It is a very effective school that is very well led and managed. The quality of teaching is very good’.

Obviously no booklet will convey everything you might want to know, so do feel free to ask questions, make comments, and above all, come and see us and talk to the staff.

We hope that your son or daughter will enjoy and benefit from his or her experiences here and that you will join us in our educational partnership.

Pam Coleman
